We ♥ colour
The Colour Palette Series Collection #2 takes direct inspiration from a longstanding design aesthetic of displaying colour palettes with evocative colour names along with the specific CMYK colour codes of each shade. A trend of recent years has been to make colour palettes like these for all sorts of things, most notably cities or countries with the names of the shades evoking touristic or well-known locations.
SeaRose loved the idea of applying this to the gritty cyberpunk world of Android and Null Signal Games’ Netrunner. The colour palette for each ID is made up of colours taken directly from the original art, given shade names referencing a similar colour card from that faction. So, for example, Freedom’s colour palette contains Eru Eggnog and Ghosttongue Espresso; Ken’s colour palette contains Bug Out Beige and Boomerang Blue; while on the Corp side Azmari’s palette contains Degree Mill Sage and Amani Sunset and the Outfit’s palette contains Wall to Wall Cream and Svyatogor Ash.
